Press Release Body: The Wine School's Premiere Wine Show is being hailed as "a great success". From October 17 - 19, nearly 2400 wine enthusiasts attended the school's Premiere Wine Show in Atlantic City. "I am stunned at how many people were there," says Wine School staffer Frank Cipparone. This was the first annual Premiere Wine Show, and was held in conjunction with the Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival.
The event was heavily attended by both consumers and wine industry veterans, including representatives from many regional wine distributors and wine shops. The Premiere Wine Room was an innovative departure for the school. "Most of these events feature well known brands, and that's about it," says Keith Wallace. "We broke with tradition and featured small boutique wineries. We also added the element of wine education into the mix." The event featured over one hundred brands from around the globe.
The wine seminars given by The Wine School senior staff were delivered to full houses and often standing room crowds. Brian Freedman - Director of Education at The Wine School - taught the popular Wine 101 while Frank Cipparone, the school's Italian wine specialist, talked on Italian wines. Founder Keith Wallace ended the three day event riffing on all things wines much to the delight of seminar attendees and vendors.
" I am glad we could be a part of the event," says Giselle Vezer of California's Vezer Family Vineyard, "the Wine School's staff was amazing." Many others were impressed by the event, including Michael H. Pelosi, owner of GrapeVine Imports, and Robert Hall of Robert Hall Winery.
Pelosi went on record stating that "the event was a huge success. I will definitely do it again next year." Important wine industry veterans in New Jersey, such as Charlie Beatty of Canal's Bottlestop, praised the event as "very well done."
"After months of hard work, I am incredibly proud of my team" says Keith Wallace of the Wine School. "The Premiere Wine Event was even better than I could have imagined. We offered an innovative approach and it paid off. I owe it all to my staff and volunteers, they did an amazing job."
